Hey {{Full name | Everyone}}

A Netflix series was being shot near the restaurant, a series in which Arjun Das was starring.

I was waiting to meet him, not as a fan, but because he unknowingly changed my life.

Years ago, people told me I sounded like him.

-That one comment gave me confidence.
-That confidence led me to create dubbing videos.
-Those videos helped me feel comfortable speaking on camera.
-That eventually led to my first Instagram video, and later to Error Makes Clever, which
today has over two million followers.

I met Arjun Das

I tried to meet him on the set. When I asked a senior crew member whether I could meet Arjun Das, I was told he was busy.

I got a chance to see the man who unknowingly changed my life standing right in front of me, but I could not talk to him. It hurt a little, but then I decided to move on.

Then I met Anbu, a camera operator on the set. We spoke for a while, and I shared my story with him. He was kind enough to answer all my questions.

As I was about to leave, he stopped me.

He walked me towards Arjun Das in front of the entire crew and then introduced me to him.

Taking that photo made me happy, but what stayed with me was Anbu.

He had nothing to gain. He did not know me. He simply understood what that moment meant to me and chose to help.

When I look back at my journey, there has always been someone like Anbu.

-Friends who pushed me to become better.
-Someone who reminded me that Error Makes Clever was the right name.
-Students who believed in my training before I believed in myself.

These people rarely get noticed, but they are the reason anything meaningful exists.

As we are nearing the end of this year, I am taking a moment to reflect and think about the many Anbus in my life.

-Who showed up for me when they did not have to.
-Who helped me without expecting anything in return.

Sometimes, one small action is enough to change a lot of things.
